Defeating the odds

I’m Tevin Cherry from Thomaston Georgia born November 2,1991 i’m 26 years old. I was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy after being born 2 and a half months premature with my twin brother. The odds were against us within the first few months of life as we struggled to cling to life and gain enough weight to leave the hospital. The powerful prayers of family members and an almighty God gave us strength to persevere. Terron was able to walk on his own while I had to deal with CP learning to pull up and walk by the age of 6. I loved education and excelled in school and loved sports from an early age. I have dreams to be a personal trainer and motivational speaker. My goal is to push for acceptance and social equality for people with disabilities in the social community.
