Energy ... is defined as vigor; power, capacity to do work. But how many of us think of energy in that way, how many of us view ourselves as having the ability to control and conduct energy as it was defined by the definition given at the top (Webster’s New World Pocket Dictionary Third Edition ©️1997). Energy also goes by the names chi, essence, life force. And if we construct our thoughts around these definitions for using the word, how different would our realities be? If we began to walk around with the confidence to actually change situations just off our energy, how far could we go? What situations are we giving life (energy) to? What more could we do with our energy seeing now we understand the power it has, that power can create, generate, start, stop, build, destroy, and initiate ... what would be our limit? We have grown to a custom to preforming at a mediocre level. Far too often we have accepted going through the motions as opposed to giving our all and changing the atmosphere. If you are looking for a compatible example, I point to nature and the weather. You can see her energy as the seasons change, as we experience different climates. From sunny to cloudy to clear skies to a downpour ... each has a purpose, a reason. Energy is being used for a cause, when a drought has happen we welcome the rain, when we are feeling gloomy we welcome the sun and clear skies. Nature is using her energy through weather to give us what we need. And we ourselves can do that for ourselves and others. Remember we have the power and capacity to do work (energy). And if we purposely direct our energy what do you think we accomplish. Having this understanding of energy makes us realize that we can no longer place the blame on others, for now we see the responsibility and function of what we possess. “...courage to change the things I can ...” (and what we can change is how we use and direct our energy) Aziel Write
